The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping order on circular welded non-alloy steel pipe and tube (standard pipe) from Mexico

The review covers five companies - Pytco, S.A. de C.V. (PYTCO); Conduit S.A. de C.V. (Conduit); Mueller Comercial de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mueller); Lamina y Placa Comercial, S.A. de C.V. (Lamina); and Tuberia Nacional, S.A. de C.V. (Tuberia Nacional) - during the period from November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2011.

The DOC has preliminarily determined that none of these companies had any reviewable sales, shipments, or entries of subject merchandise during the period of review. The DOC plans to complete this review and issue its final results by April 2013. Until the final results are published in the Federal Register, the current dumping duty deposit rates will remain in effect.

The current dumping duty deposit rates for these companies are: Mueller - 19.81 percent; Lamina (formerly Tuberia Nacional) - 2.92 percent; Tuberia Nacional - 2.92 percent; and the "All Others" rate of 36.62 percent for PYTCO and Conduit.
