In August, the governor of Zacatecas and the company Tris Tubes signed an investment agreement in South Korea to produce seamless steel tubes in Mexico for the energy, aerospace and various equipment industries.

Looking to Mexico, the directors of Tris Tubes “are analyzing the rental or purchase of a warehouse that has an area of 9,500 square meters,” the state government reported in a press release.

The South Korean company's investment will be around $20 million in Zacatecas. The executives in Mexico are the Head of the Strategic Planning Division of Tris Tubes, SG Choi, and the Director of Production, Sangyong.
