Dalian Special Steel develops 304 series stainless round billet

Chinese steelmaker Dalian Special Steel, a subsidiary of Dongbei special Steel Company, has announced that it has developed production of 80 mm 304 series stainless steel round billets. In its initial batch, the steelmaker produced 76 billets totaling 100 mt.
 
As SteelOrbis recently reported, Dalian Special Steel produced 430,000 mt of crude steel in 2011, while it aims to triple its crude steel output to 1.25 million mt in the current year.
