CPCA: Passenger vehicle sales in China to total 2.3 million units in Dec

The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) has stated that passenger vehicle retail sales in China are expected to amount to 2.3 million units in December this year, up 3.4 percent month on month, while down 12.7 percent year on year.

In particular, new energy vehicles retail sales in China are likely to reach 1.38 million units, up 4.5 percent month on month, with the market penetration rate of NEVs standing at around 60 percent in December.
