Colombian iron and steel export volume up 16 percent in January

In January this year, Colombia exported 17,725 mt of ferronickel, up 49.6 percent, with a value of $63.6 million, increasing by 48.5 percent, both year on year, as announced by the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE).

In the given month, Colombia's iron and steel export volume totaled 25,219 mt, up 16 percent, with a value of $75.74 million, rising by 29.7 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
