Colombian crude steel production increases in July

Colombian crude steel output in July increased 6 percent, year-on-year, to 122,242 mt, according to the local committee of steel producers, (CPA). Colombian crude steel production in July grew 1.8 percent, month-on-month, from 120,050 mt in June 2019.

Domestic finished long steel output in July was 121,261 mt, 9.6 percent up, year-on-year, and 4.1 percent up, month-on-month.

As for the accumulated period from January to July, Colombian crude steel output improved 15.7 percent, year-on-year, to 795,277 mt. Colombian finished long steel production in the seven-month period was 798,656 mt, 9.5 percent up, year-on-year.
