Colombian crude steel output rises in November

Colombian crude steel production in November rose 5.2 percent, year-on-year, to 118,618 mt, according to data released by the local Committee of Steel Producers (CPA). Production in November increased 10.2 percent, month-on-month, from October this year.

CPA said local finished long steel production in November reached 103,029 mt, 6.3 percent down, year-on-year, and 2.1 percent down, month-on-month.

As for the accumulated period of January to November, Colombian crude steel production totaled 1.12 million mt, 3.5 percent down, year-on-year.

CPA said Colombian finished long steel output in the same period was 1.14 million mt, 7.9 percent down, year-on-year.
