ChTPZ’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant commissions new cold rolling mill

Russia-based steel pipe producer ChTPZ Group has announced that its subsidiary Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant has started production at its new cold rolling mill, which will increase the volume of production, improve the quality and reduce the cost of manufacturing products for the nuclear and engineering industries. Investment in the project was approximately RUB 200 million ($3.4 million).

The design capacity of the new cold rolling mill is 1.1 million meters of pipes per year and it will produce pipes with diameters ranging from 10 millimeters to 30 millimeters and with a length of 20 meters. ChTPZ stated that the new equipment will also increase the accuracy of the finished products. In addition, it will enhance the company's competitiveness and allow it to enter new markets.
