ChTPZ sees nine percent rise in pipe shipments in H1

Russia-based steel pipe producer ChTPZ Group has announced its operational results for the first half of the current year.

In the first half, ChTPZ shipped 881,800 mt of steel pipes to customers, representing a nine percent increase compared to the same period of last year.

In the first half of this year, seamless pipe shipments rose by 13 percent year on year to 506,600 mt, including 135,200 mt of OCTG.

ChTPZ's welded pipe shipments increased by four percent year on year in the first six months to 375,200 mt, including 357,000 mt of large diameter pipes.

In the January-June period of the current year, ChTPZ shipped 751,000 mt of steel pipes to the domestic market, and 130,800 mt for export.
