Changshu’s steel exports rise strongly in April

According to the Changshu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in April this year steel exports from the Changshu area in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu reached 7,807 mt, with a value of $16.85 million, climbing up by 82.4 percent and 106.9 percent year on year, respectively.
 
The main steel product exports from the Changsu area include seamless pipe, shipbuilding section steel and welded pipe. The strong increase in steel exports from Changshu in April mainly resulted from sales of seamless pipe and shipbuilding section steel.
