Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have mostly softened slightly during the past seven days. Overall trading activity has slowed a little and is considered to be at normal levels, while prices have moved down by small margins amid the declines seen in prices of billet on the upstream side. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may just fluctuate slightly.

Overall trading activity has been at weak levels, while downticks in prices of steel strip and most raw materials have also contributed to the downward trend of welded pipe prices. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may continue to move down by small margins.
