According to Statistics Canada, new motor vehicle sales in October 2024 totaled 163,577 units, reflecting decrease of 0.01 percent month-on-month and an increase of 7.1 percent year-on-year. By value, Canadian vehicle sales in October totaled $9.21 million, compared to $9.56 million in September and $8.40 million in October 2023.
Canadian sales of vehicles manufactured in North America totaled 111,622 units in October at a value of $6.52 million, while sales of vehicles manufactured overseas totaled 51,955 units at a value of $2.69 million.
