Baogang's crude steel output up 1.2 percent in 2013

On January 3, Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) announced that in 2013 its outputs of pig iron and crude steel amounted to 9.6353 million mt and 10.2021 million mt, up 0.37 percent and 1.2 percent year on year, respectively. Meanwhile, its output of finished steel in the given year totaled 9.7321 million mt, up 1.98 percent year on year.
