Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steel producer Baotou Iron and Steel Group (Baogang Group) has announced product output results at its sheet plant for the first quarter.
The steelmaker produced 1,006,375 mt of crude steel in the first quarter of the current year at its sheet plant, 4,375 mt more than the targeted volume. At the sheet plant, in the first quarter the rolled pickling line output at the plant reached 343,008 mt, 23,008 mt more than the targeted volume, the galvanized line output came to 97,646 mt, 646 mt more than the targeted volume, the slab output was 315,905 mt, 11,905 mt more than the targeted volume, and, finally, the steel plate output was 277,226 mt, 10,626 mt more than the target.
