Baogang Group produces 5.08 million mt of crude steel in Jan-Oct

Inner-Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) has announced that its total crude steel output reached 5.08 million mt in the January-October period of the current year, constituting an all-time high crude steel output for the company for the first 10 months of a year.

In the given period, raw material consumption per metric ton of steel produced at Baogang was 1,084.89 kg, which is close to the domestic average of 1,077 kg.
