On September 8, Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) announced that in August this year it produced 1.024 million mt of pig iron, 988,300 mt of crude steel and 972,000 mt of finished steel.
In 2015, Baogang plans to produce 13 million mt of pig iron, 13.16 million mt of crude steel and 12.40 million mt of finished steel, as Baogang announced at the beginning of this year.
