ATZ increases steel pipe production in January-August

In August this year, Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 18,156 mt of steel pipes. In the January-August period of the current year, the mill increased its steel pipe output by 10.2 percent compared to the same period of 2010, reaching 124,651 mt.

In August this year, ATZ shipped 17,996 mt of steel pipes. In January-August, ATZ increased its shipments of steel pipes by 4.3 percent year on year to 122,536 mt.
