Argentina’s auto production increases in January

Argentinian auto production in January rose 50.5 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by the country’s automotive industry association, Adefa.
 
Domestic auto production in January totaled 26,762 units, 8,977 units more when compared to the same month of the year prior, but down 33.2 percent, month-on-month.
 
Argentinian domestic auto sales in January improved 6.7 percent, year-on-year, but declined 26.6 percent, month-on-month, to 52,841 units.
 
The country’s auto exports in January totaled 9,754 units, 150.9 percent up, year-on-year, but 48.1 percent down, month-on-month.
