72 Steel plans to build steel plant in Pennsylvania

US-based steelmaker 72 Steel Group will build a $218 million steel plant in Pennsylvania, according to media reports.

The plant, which will have an annual production capacity of 500,000 mt, will use advanced steel production technology, aiming to reduce consumption of energy.

The construction of the plant is expected to be finished by late 2025.

72 Steel Group produces rebar and section steel used in building and infrastructure construction.
