60 million mt of new iron ore resources discovered in Jiangxi in 2010

The department of land and resources of China's Jiangxi Province has announced that in 2010 over 100 million mt of new coal resources and 60 million mt of new iron ore resources were discovered in the province.

The Jiangxi provincial authorities launched a new resource exploration project at the beginning of 2009. In 2010, a total of RMB 232 million ($35 million) was invested in this project by the Jiangxi government, up 140 percent on the investment total in 2009.
