Pricing for US import API X-52 ERW line pipe from Korea in the US domestic has remained lateral week-over-week, at $42.50-$43.50 cwt. ($937-$959/mt or $850-$870/nt), DDP week-over-week, while the most commonly heard price range for US import API-X52 ERW line pipe from Mexico is still trending at $46.50-$47.50 cwt. ($1025-$1047/mt or $930-$950/nt), FOB Houston.

Domestic prices, sources note, are still mostly trending at $50.00-$52.50 cwt. ($1102-$1157/mt or $1000-$1050/nt), ex-mill, although sources close to SteelOrbis have indicated that distribution centers have become increasingly willing to negotiate prices.

Earlier today, Wells Fargo predicted that the bear oil market could last another five to 10 years, with oil prices trending between $30 and $60 per barrel.  SteelOrbis sources have said that as long as oil is above $50, activity within the US line pipe market should remain stable.
