US import OCTG casing prices hold steady after late-January revision

Last week, SteelOrbis reported that the most commonly heard pricing for US import J55 ERW OCTG casing from Taiwan in the US domestic market had revised downward from $41.00-$42.50 cwt. ($904-$937/mt or $820-$850/nt), to $40.00-$41.00 cwt. ($882-$904/mt or $800-$820/nt), both DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports. This week, US import J55 ERW OCTG casing prices from Taiwan in the US domestic market have stabilized.

Order activity and inquiries to continue to remain strong, sources note, adding that little if anything has changed with regard to customer activity since our last report a week ago.
