The local Chinese steel pipe prices have either remained stable or declined by small margins during the past week.

Chinese seamless pipe prices have been mostly stable during the past seven days, with some small decreases also seen. Overall trading activity has improved slightly but is still weak. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may follow a stable trend ahead of the National Day holiday.

Chinese domestic welded pipe prices have also been mainly stable in the past week, with some slight downticks also observed as demand has been weak. On the other hand, some increases in steel strip prices have provided support for welded pipe prices. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may move sideways or down slightly.
