According to market sources, Turkish producers’ export offer range for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 is still at $570-590/mt FOB, while $10/mt discounts on the lower end of this price range are possible for buyers of larger volumes.

Market sources state that demand has been slack for a long time now and buyers’ expectations for extremely low prices are expected to come to an end under current market conditions. It is heard that some Turkish welded pipe exporters have this week been continuing their regular sales to Africa and the Middle East.
