Buying activity in the Turkish seamless pipe market has remained weak over the past month amid political and economic uncertainty in the country. Quotations of Chinese seamless pipe offers have decreased by $5-20/mt over the past month, while import offers of seamless pipes from Russia have lost a maximum of $10/mt. Over the same period, import prices of Czech pipes have increased by $30-35/mt mainly caused by the weakening of the US dollar against the euro, while offers of Romanian material have moved up by a maximum of $5/mt. Market insiders remain cautious about the seasonal rebound in autumn due to global economic instability.

Chinese suppliers are offering seamless pipes of 2"-12" grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L to the Turkish market in the price range of $545-580/mt CFR.

Russian producer ChTPZ Group is offering 2"-6" seamless hot-formed pipes of grade B made to ASTM at about $770-800/mt CFR Turkey.

Czech producers' offers for 2"-6" seamless pipes of grade B as per ASTM A106 are being given to the Turkish market at about $1,085-1,100/mt CFR.

Import offers of seamless pipes from Romania, 3"-10" of grade B made to API 5L PSL1, are being given to the Turkish market at around $1,040-1,060/mt CPT.
