Turkish welded pipe prices have remained stable over the past week with some improvements seen in sales in both the domestic and export segments. In particular, foreign buyers have shown better demand for Turkish products, partly as import scrap prices to Turkey have moved up. As a result, Turkey’s export pipe prices for November-December shipments have remained at $490-510/mt FOB.

In the domestic market, sales have also improved slightly, mainly given the currency fluctuations. However, a fundamental improvement in local demand is not foreseen in the near future, SteelOrbis understands. Offers in the local welded pipe market are at the same levels as export pricing, at $490-510/mt ex-works.

**Prices are given for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219, on theoretical weight basis.
