Kardemir keeps its pig iron prices stable

According to the price list dated January 8, 2013, Turkish steel producer Kardemir has announced its basic pig iron and hematite pig iron prices for local sales.
 
Accordingly, the producer's local sales price of H1 is still standing at $485/mt + VAT, while its H2 price is at $475/mt + VAT. Meanwhile, Kardemir's local sales price of C1 is at $435/mt + VAT, while its C2 price is standing at $420/mt + VAT.
 
Basic and hematite pig iron prices have remained unchanged as compared to Kardemir's previous price list dated January 4.
