Kardemir announces its pig iron prices

As per its new price list dated August 14, Turkish steel producer Kardemir has opened its domestic pig iron sales. Accordingly, Kardemir has opened its domestic sales for H1 and H2 at levels of $505/mt and $495/mt respectively, while the mill's prices for C1 and C2 stand at levels of $455/mt and at $440/mt respectively - all excluding VAT, for 250 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral. Compared to the previous price list, the producer's pig iron sales prices have remained stable.
