India’s domestic ferrosilicon prices trend down

On August 2, SteelOrbis reported prices for Indian domestic ferrosilicon (70-75 percent) at INR 67,200-69,000/mt ($965-990/mt) ex-warehouse in the northeast India region.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that domestic ferrosilicon prices have softened on weak demand and are presently at INR 66,700-68,000/mt ($944-963/mt) ex-warehouse in northeast India. Prices decreased $21/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $27/mt from the top of the same range.
