India’s domestic ferrochrome prices tick up

On August 22, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic ferrochrome (HC 60 percent) prices at INR 64,000-64,600/mt ($890-898/mt) ex-works.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that prices are trending at INR 65,000-65,500/mt ($905-912/mt) ex-works. Prices increased $15/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $14/mt from the top of the previous range. However, demand is still reportedly weak.
