On March 29, SteelOrbis reported prices for Indian domestic ferrosilicon (70-75 percent) at INR 72,000-73,000/mt ($1,040-1,054/mt) ex-warehouse in the northeast India region. Sources inform SteelOrbis that domestic ferrosilicon is now at INR 75,000/mt ($1,077/mt) ex-warehouse in the same region. Prices firmed up $23/mt from the top of the previous range and $37/mt from the bottom of that same range. A source noted that prices “improved early in the month and have remained relatively stable for the past few weeks.”
