On July 19, SteelOrbis reported prices for Indian domestic ferrosilicon (70-75 percent) at INR 68,800-70,500/mt ($999-1,024/mt) ex-warehouse in the northeast India region. Sources inform SteelOrbis that domestic ferrosilicon has softened, and prices are now reportedly at INR 67,200-69,000/mt ($973-999/mt) ex-warehouse in northeast India. Prices decreased $26/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $25/mt from the top of the same range. The falling prices are attributed to continued weak demand.
