India’s domestic ferrochrome prices up domestically, down in dollar terms

On August 1, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic ferrochrome (HC 60 percent) prices at INR 62,500-63,500/mt ($903-917/mt) ex-works.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that prices are trending at INR 63,000-63,800/mt ($888-899/mt) ex-works. Due to currency fluctuations, despite higher domestic prices, prices in dollar terms decreased $15/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $18/mt from the top of the same range.
