On August 12, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic silicomanganese offer prices at INR 64,500-65,000/mt ($905-912/mt) ex-works in the Raipur (east-central India) and Durgapur (east India) regions.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices in both regions are now at INR 64,000-64,600/mt ($894-902/mt) ex-works with Durgapur prices on the higher end of the range. Prices at the bottom of the range decreased by $11/mt while the top of the range decreased by $10/mt. The price decline for the alloy continues to be attributed to low demand. The present domestic price is the lowest in the past 12 months.
