The price level for rebar in the local Romanian market is at around $710/mt ex-works, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis.

The Romanian rebar market has started to trend upward following the Orthodox Christmas holiday. However, it is expected that the domestic prices will increase further in February in line with the rising import prices. Due to the heavy winter-time conditions, end-user demand cannot currently be described as being strong.

The price of imported rebar in the Romanian domestic rebar market is in the range of $695-700/mt delivered to warehouse.
