SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of 12 mm rebar in the local Portuguese market have this week shown an increase of €30-40/mt ($38-50/mt) and currently are at the level of €440/mt ($552/mt) delivered to customer, excluding VAT. Meanwhile, end-user demand in the Portuguese domestic rebar market is slack.
