SteelOrbis has been informed that the local offers for 8 mm rebar in the Saudi Arabian market are at the price level of SAR 5,600/mt ($1,495/mt), offers for 12 mm are at SAR 5,300/mt ($1,415/mt), while 16 mm and above are being offered at SAR 5,350/mt ($1,429/mt), ex-works, including five percent VAT, on a theoretical weight basis and with 30-60 day deferred payment.
The rebar prices in the Saudi Arabian domestic market have remained unchanged compared to last week. It is possible that the prices in question may see some increase in the near future due to the strong end-user demand.
