Over the past week, Turkish merchant bar producers’ prices have increased their prices by TRY 200-300/mt ($3-6/mt), against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle price at TRY 25,550/mt ($629/mt) ex-works today, July 29, rising by TRY 250/mt ($5/mt) over the past week.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late August-early September or from stocks, depending on the size.
