SteelOrbis has been informed that local prices for medium size rebar in the Greek domestic market are currently at the level of €460-480/mt ($587-613/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis with 90-day deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Price levels in the local Greek rebar market have been maintaining their downtrend. End-users have been experiencing difficulties in getting bank loans, and thus they find it difficult to buy finished steel products. Meanwhile, end-user demand in this country has been at low levels.
