SteelOrbis has been informed that the price of medium size rebar in the Greek domestic market stands at the level of €850-900/mt delivered to customer, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis with 90-day deferred payment.

It is reported that end-user demand for rebar continues to be weak in the local Greek market. The ex-factory rebar price is at €900/mt in the market in question, whereas the traders' prices hover in the range of €850-880/mt. Meanwhile, it is heard that the Italian market, where local and export prices stand at very low levels, are giving offers to the Greek market.
