Local and import prices in Greek long steel market

According to market sources, demand is currently very weak in the Greek long steel market, while rebar prices stand at €450/mt ($563/mt) delivered. Meanwhile, domestic angle and flat bar prices are in the range of €490-495/mt ($613-619/mt) delivered. Prices are on actual weight basis and exclude VAT.
 
On the other hand, the most recent rebar deal from Italy to Greece was concluded at €430/mt ($538/mt) CFR, while ex-Italy angle and flat bar offers to Greece are currently in the range of €470-475/mt ($588-594/mt) CFR.
