India’s RINL floats export tenders for billet and wire rod for November shipment

Indian state-run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has floated export tenders for 20,000 mt of 90 mm prime billet and 5,000 mt of prime non-alloy steel wire rod for shipment by November, company sources said on Monday, September 18.

The sources said that the last date for submission of bids has been fixed for September 22 for both tenders. The minimum bid volume for billet has been set at 10.000 mt and 500 mt for wire rod.

Shipment will be completed against an irrevocable international letter of credit payable at sight, the sources said.
