Over the past week, a few Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have cut their offers by $10/mt amid weaker import scrap and billet prices . Currently, ex-Turkey official equal angle offers have settled at $620-640/mt FOB for August shipment.
The SteelOrbis Turkish billet daily import reference price stands at $465-485/mt CFR, versus $490-530/mt CFR previously. The Balkan buyers are relatively active but they are expected to start their summer holidays in August.
