During the week ending April 25, average cold rolled coil (CRC) prices in the Chinese domestic market have either fluctuated slightly or moved sideways, while transaction activity in the overall market has been at low-to-medium levels. Average cold rolled product prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.
During the given week, ferrous metal futures prices and semi-finished steel prices in China have moved on rising trends, exerting a positive impact on the CRC market. Meanwhile, traders with high stock level have been seeking to conclude sales. However, inventory consumption has been proceeding slowly. It is expected that CRC prices will move sideways in the coming week.
