A source from a Brazilian producer told SteelOrbis that Galvalume exports are currently negotiated at $1,050/mt, FOB conditions for the AZ-150 product, the same reference from two weeks ago.

The source maintains perspectives for higher prices, chiefly in exports to the US. A second local source mentioned a reference of $970/mt, FOB conditions, for sales to non-US destinations

In February, CSN exported 1,100 mt of Galvalume to the US, at $1,050/mt, while Brazil imported in February 16,600 mt of Galvalume from China at $756/mt FOB, with differences in prices ascribed to varying grade and tonnage levels.
