In July this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 2.2 percent year on year to 301,200 mt, its pig iron production moved up by 29.4 percent to 396,500 mt, while its crude steel production rose by six percent year on year to 354,200 mt, according to the company's results.
In the January-July period this year, Zaporizhstal saw a 12.7 percent year-on-year increase in its finished steel product output to 2.11 million mt and a 28.3 percent year-on-year rise in its pig iron output to 2.53 million mt, while its crude steel production went up by 7.4 percent year on year to 2.39 million mt.
