Zaporizhstal's crude steel output down 3.6 percent in November

In November this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by 30 percent to 186,200 mt, its crude steel production fell by 3.6 percent to 300,500 mt, while its pig iron production moved up by 14.7 percent to 316,900 mt, all year on year, according to the company's results. The year-on-year decline in finished steel output in the given month was due to the stoppage of the rolling mills No. 1150 and No. 1680 for major repairs.

In the January-November period, Zaporizhstal saw a 2.8 percent year-on-year increase in its pig iron output to 3.42 million mt, its crude steel production declined by 0.5 percent year on year to 3.56 million mt, while its finished steel product output decreased by 5.8 percent year on year to 2.91 million mt.
