Zaporizhstal's crude steel output down 13.5 percent in December

In December last year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by 12 percent to 267,400 mt, its crude steel production fell by 13.5 percent to 305,400 mt, while its pig iron production moved down by 25 percent to 264,600 mt, all year on year, according to the company's results.
 
In the whole year of 2016, Zaporizhstal saw a 5.45 percent year-on-year decrease in its pig iron output to 3.60 million mt, its crude steel production declined by 2.22 percent year on year to 3.89 million mt, while its finished steel product output rose by 0.5 percent year on year to 3.36 million mt.
