Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output declines slightly in 2012

According to preliminary results, in 2012 Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by 0.7 percent to 3.15 million mt, while its crude steel production also declined by 0.7 percent to 3.78 million mt, both compared to 2011.
 
In addition, in 2012 Zaporizhstal saw a five percent year-on-year increase in its pig iron output to 3.19 million mt.
