The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday that it has rescinded the administrative review of countervailing duty (CVD) order on circular welded carbon quality steel pipe (standard pipe) from China.
The review was requested by Wheatland Tube Company, a US domestic pipe and tube producer, but Wheatland subsequently withdrew its request.
The review had originally covered the following Chinese producers/exporters: Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.; Benxi Northern Steel Pipes, Co. Ltd.; CNOOC Kingland Pipeline Co., Ltd.; Guangzhou Juyi Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.; Hebei Zhongyuan Steel Pipe Manufacturer; Hefei Zijin Steel Tube Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; Huludao City Steel Pipe Industrial; Hunan Great Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.; Hunan Hengyang Steel Tube (Group) Co., Ltd.; Jiangsu Changbao Steel Tube Co., Ltd.; Jiangsu Yulong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.; Liaoning Northern Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.; Liaoyang Steel Tube Co., Ltd.; Shanghai Zhongyou Tipo Steel; Tianjin Huilitong Steel Tube Co., Ltd.; Tianjin Shuangjie Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.; Weifang East Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.; Wuxi Fastube Industry Co., Ltd.; and Zhejiang Kingland Pipeline Industry Co., Ltd.
